Based on 10 years of experience in technical computing
Altreia Solutions provide profound knowledge of the technical and
scientific computing market (Mechanical Design Automation [MDA] in the
markets Aerospace, Automotive and Manufacturing; Electronic Design
Automation [EDA]; Lifesciences; etc.) with detailed insight into the
German market. This knowledge covers Grid Portal solutions,
collaborative workflow infrastructures, Distributed Resource
Management (DRM) / Grid Computing, administration of complex
environments as well as
Linux/OpenSource-SW specializing in Linux clusters and Desktops
(e.g. for CAE).
Altreia Solutions was founded by Dr. Karsten Gaier in 2003.
After finishing his PhD in Theoretical Astrophysics at the University
of Tübingen Dr. Karsten Gaier worked for several years at science +
computing AG, a leading provider of IT-Services and Software for the
technical computing market (e.g. Airbus, AUDI, BMW, DaimlerChrysler,
Infineon) in Germany, in IT-Services and software development and later
as sales manager for workload management software and manager of sales and
marketing.
